14 Years in One Apartment
Seven years before I met my husband, he moved into this apartment in Somerville with his then-girlfriend. The same apartment was his home through the birth of his poetry press, multiple career changes, two book publications, his first wedding, their divorce, and then later on the front steps, our first kiss. We lived there together for two years before closing on our house in Medford.
